When the number of screens increases, the problem is not just more displays, but also a simultaneous increase in total weight, desktop mounting points, viewing angles, power, and cables.

First, determine the main monitor

Place the most frequently viewed screen directly in front of you, and arrange other monitors according to their use for communication, data, or monitoring. Avoid spreading them out evenly, which would cause constant neck movement.

Vertical dual monitors are suitable for limited width

Vertical arrangement saves horizontal space, but the angle and height of the upper screen need to be adjusted to avoid prolonged抬头.

For triple and quad monitors, calculate the total load first

Record the weight and VESA of each monitor after removing its base, then add the weight of the arm itself, and confirm the conditions of your desk surface and clamp.

  • Weight per monitor
  • Total number of cables
  • Desktop mounting area

Add one at a time

Adjust two monitors first before adding a third. This helps identify if any wobbling, cable length, or viewing issues originate from a specific position.

HomeWorker Reminder

Monitor arm weight capacity is usually calculated per arm; however, you still need to confirm the total load capacity of the entire base and workstation.
