Wall-mounted metal pegboard size planning: from 40×60 to large-scale work walls

Large pegboards may look complete, but the wall material, number of fixing points, panel transportation, and future load are all more important than the area.

First, identify the fixable areas

Distinguish between solid walls, plasterboard, wood panels, or other finishes, and confirm electrical wiring, water pipes, and lease restrictions. The fixing method should match the wall.

Plan with the desktop centerline

First, determine the screen and main work area, then place the pegboard in a position that does not obstruct sight or lighting; there is no need to try to cover the entire wall.

Consider entry and拼接 for large panels

Measure the elevator, doorway, corridor corners, and stairs. Multiple medium-sized panels are sometimes easier to transport and reconfigure than one super-large panel.

Distribute the hanging weight

Storage platforms and heavy accessories should be close to the fixing points and distributed left and right; ambient lights and small items should also have independent wiring to avoid pulling.

HomeWorker Reminder

When drilling into walls or installing large panels, assessment and installation should be performed by personnel who understand the wall structure.
